Every Friday I will put something fresh up…Some of the shows were recorded by me, some weren’t…i will give credit where it’s due, unless the culprits wish to remain nameless…
Let’s begin with a lil battle shall we? Jim Jones vs. Jay Z…We Fly High vs.Brooklyn High!!
The Jim Jones performance was recorded live at Avalon nightclub in NYC by yours truly..Harlem was definitely in the building and DJ Enuff was definitely Jim Jones hypeman! This was back when ballin’ was the hottest record out, Max B was still in jail but repping birdgang, and Harlem’s Ridahman was still reppin tuff for dipset…oh and he had a lil tiff with that BK guy Jay Z…
The Jay Z version, with Bleek playing hypeman and the Evil Genius on the Steel took place at the Howard Gilman Opera House in the Brooklyn Academy of Music. This was Jiggaman’s official BK homecoming around the time of the Kingdom Come album dropping (if I recall correctly). Nobody saw this one coming..but when it dropped BK definitely stood up…
